About the Volunteer Award
Do you know someone who goes above and beyond to make a difference in our community? Now is the time to give them the recognition they truly deserve! The ASUCD Volunteer Award is for volunteers who show exemplary service such as organizing events, mentoring peers, or leading impactful initiatives.
The ASUCD Volunteer Award was created for the purpose of recognizing dedicated volunteers for their contributions to their workplace. Nominees shall be selected according to the following criteria:
- Initiative: Goes above and beyond normal duties; volunteers for any assignment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Teamwork: Attends all scheduled meetings; builds strong relationships with co-workers; treats fellow workers with respect; serves as a positive example to the rest of the student volunteers
- Contribution to employer: Supports supervisors; exhibits a strong sense of maturity, maintains an exemplary service record
The $250 scholarship funds will be disbursed to recipients for the Fall Quarter through their financial aid packages, available on UC Davis MyAwards.
Eligibility
- Nominee must be an undergraduate member of the University of California, Davis
- Nominee must be a registered full-time, part-time, and/or current Planned Educational Leave Program (PELP) student of the University of California, Davis
- Nominee must be an ASUCD volunteer who has filled out volunteer paperwork from the ASUCD Headquarters (HQ) office

Nominations for the Volunteer Award have opened! Applications are due Sunday November 24th, 2024 by 11:59 PM PST.
